I am collecting clothing and funding donations to support Dress for Success Sydney’s life-changing programs and services.
I am hosting a Dress for Success clothing drive to support the Dress for Success chapter in our community. I am able to do this with the much appreciated support of my employer - Easy Agile - providing us 1% of our company time to give back to our community.
What does the Illawarra chapter of Dress for Success do?
Our aim is to empower local women to become economically independent. We aim to do this by providing support, clothing and tools to assist women to achieve their professional goals in life. We hope to support women through their journey toward gaining employment.
We provide services to all women, from all backgrounds and situations.
Our clients are referred to us through our partnering referral agencies such as Employment providers, Community based organisations, Refugees and Education & training providers.
Your donation of clothing or money will help to rebuild the lives of women doing it tough by instilling confidence, restoring dignity and building resilience, to help women in our community facing challenges thrive in 2022 and beyond.
Donated clothes for the main are used to provide women with good quality, pre-loved clothing free of charge for their interview, to start a new role, or for an important life event.
What can you donate?
Our Illawarra chapter is in need of:
- Interview / work wear for their showroom in good condition
- Handbags and shoes in good condition for interview/work
- Clothing of any sort that they can sell at their fashion sale (held twice a year to fundraise to continue delivering their service)

If possible to donate clothing with clothes hangers (not wire), this helps the delivery and display of pre-loved clothing.
Clothing can be dropped at the Easy Agile office (Level 6, 6-8 Regent St Wollongong) to Jasmin on Wednesday 26 October.
